Root bricked facinate, odin wont recognize

I recently flashed of teamhacksungs ics port build 9, i flashed a custom kernel and the cmw recovery changed to a different one. I attempted a restore from a saved backup on the new recovery since it recognized the recovery files. Now it will just show the Samsung boot logo. i can boot into download mode but it isnt recognized by odin or my computer. Any ideas?
 
it recognized it before the brick. Thats how i rooted it. My computer wont recognize the device and use the drivers. Is there a way i can manually connect the unregistered and uknown device to those drivers on windows 7.

im having the same issues with odin... my computer keeps saying not recognized.. the usb device has malfunctioned...

weirdest part is i just used odin to restore to stock from a ics bootloop..
i used atlas v2.2.2.pit and eh03...

booted fine... i turned off the phone so i could odin cwm and now looks like im stuck on stock unless i can get my hands on a different pc.. ive reinstalled the drivers.. tried all 4 usb ports.. no luck...

i did recently install drivers and such to root a nexus s 4g.. could that possibly be my problem? idk.. seems to me like the phone should connect now if it connected just fine a couple hours ago



*edit* tried different usb cable.. worked first try...
both were samsung data cables... the one giving me problems has U9 under the samsung logo.... the one that fixed it for me has U4 on it... maybe this info will help someone in the future
