So when I first bought the galaxy s3 mini I thought to myself why not root it, my username would begin to make sense as I move on... So I had rooted my phone using some app called vRoot which really rooted my phone but it was all chinese and using common sense I had rooted it, I did so much and I enjoyed it but when I go to software update, I couldn't update as my software had been modified. So I end up downloading ROM manager and looking for stock roms and when I finally did find one, I installed it with Clockworkmod recovery and guess what? It installed the rom but to my demise I had already had the latest update... But not only that, I still had root and all of my apps were gone which I had expected and liked since it freed so much space. So again downloading ROM Manager I gave up and decided to keep the root.

But it doesn't end there, my idiotic self decided to install the cyanogenmod ROM and when I had installed it my phone booted up but it wouldn't turn on and now its just stuck on the CyanogenMod screen with some type of loading thing in the middle its just CyanogenMod in the middle of a circle and one part spinning clockwise and other spinning anti clockwise... Please help, I cant enter recovery mode or download mode. I really messed up myself this time.:confused:

You need the current stock ROM (try SamMobile Firmwares - use your phone's model number, not S3 mini) and Odin. (Unless the ROM listed at SamMobile has an orange box at the right end, then you install it with Kies.

Boot the phone to download mode (Volume Down, Home, Power - when you get the prompt [I think it's press Volume Up] do it.) and install the stock ROM. Aside from the time it takes Odin to actually flash the ROM, once you've done that a few times, and you have everything you need already downloaded, your time to do it is about a minute.

How screwed are you? About as screwed as if you were standing in front of the refrigerator and forgot to close the door. You just close it. I'd say "Somewhat easy to fix", once you've learned to do it, is MUCH more difficult than it really is. You flashed a ROM already - it's different since you have to use Odin or Kies instead of Cyanogen Mod. but not more difficult. (If there are two ROMS, one for Kies, one not, get the one that's not - Odin is more stable than Kies IMO.)

Dude, thanks for the help! But what I did wrong was I think I had to wipe all data when I installed the ROM so with the situation I had now is that every time I try to enter recovery mode with Vol up home and power button. It turned off the first time but I didn't try it again. This time I tried it again and it worked and now I just wiped all data and it seemed to work. I kinda like the cyanogenmod and how its all themed but if I ever need to I'll use your info. Thanks!
