Root Bricked Phone?

Hi guys

So a friend in Rift suggested I should upgrade since I was still on version 5.5.893 or something (cant remember off the top of my head)....


Well I thought I would not need to un root or anything and did the steps in this thread (the top sticked one)


Well here where things went wrong. I was using my phones 4g LTE tethered to my PC to download the files. The ICS one downloaded fine but the 5.9.905 was corrupt. I re down'd it on my wife's phone (on 3g yuk) but by that time my bioncs battery is almost dead and it wouldnt flash it.

Now whenever I turn the bionic on it just says flash failure and I cant get it to boot.

I did attempt to make a backup using ROM Manager but when I go to the CWM directory on my sd card there is nothing there.

Just so you know I am typing this from my work, I can not access the internet at my house and I cant really get anything off my work computer (no usb drives).

So how do I unfubar this?
 
Looks like you need to flash the 6.7.246 fxz (not the modified) and that should get you going. But first you need to get the battery charged because it will not do anything without the battery. Unless you have a factory cable from Motorola not the one that came with the phone but a cabled you would have had to order from team black hat.

What do you mean by this? Sorry it sounds confusing to me. I have the cable that came with the phone and that is all.
 
It's is a special cable that allows you to flash software with no battery. I am guessing that you don't have one because you have to buy it separately.

The first thing you need to do is get your battery charged and then you should be able to flash the 6.7.246 FXZ only. Do not try to flash 5.9.905 fxz

Ok so I was able to find a friend with a bionic and the same battery and was able to use his and charge mine.

While attempting to flash 6.7.246 FXZ it fails, sometimes immediately and others after a minute or two of part 1/22.
