Hi all,
Need help with Galaxy note gt5110. Ive wiped everything and now I'm stuck with like "downloading... do not turn off target!!. " I don't have access to a pc so can anyone help to get my tab working? Thank in advance

This might be one of Android's bugs, how can a device connect to the Internet after its data is wiped?

Mobile data. WiFi if you've re-entered the password, but mobile data will come live automatically once the phone connects to the network, even straight after a reset.

Well you can't, that's it. So you'll need to beg, steal or borrow a PC.

It's a Samsung thing and it's not internet related at all. It means the device is in download mode (a sort of fastboot/recovery for Samsung devices) and is waiting to download firmware via Kies/Odin.

If it's stuck in download mode, the only way to fix it is with a PC.

When you say you've "wiped everything" you mean you factory reset? or you've deleted your entire system? If the former, try pressing the power button until the tab reboots. If the latter, you're at least going to need a PC to fix this, if you haven't bricked your device.

To echo what the others have already said, it's download mode which would require a PC if that's your only remaining mode of interfacing the device. What did you use to wipe? Stock recovery? TWRP or other custom recovery? Flashfire? Other?

If anything other than stock recovery, which partitions did you wipe precisely?

Yeah I factory reset it. I can still get into recovery mode. I've tried to install stock rom from my SD card, it starts to install then it says rebooting then goes straight back to "Downloading... do not turn off target

Ok so the only remaining option then is flashing the firmware with Odin. A PC will be required to fix this one.
