Ok so i ran the ace exploit and about 5 minutes in it said not all drivers were installed, press any key to continue pressed a key and it exited the exploit. unplugged my phone turned it on and its now only able to get into hboot. will the ruu work in this case? any help is accepted please and thank you
 
Ok tried the RUU and i guess my computer is kinda reading my phone, but not really.. i have an icon saying Android ADB Interface and i believe. Also when i plug in the phone no image or wrong image. I know i was wrong and i made a mistake but please someone help. is there still a chance of saving my device?

You might be better served by going over to xda and jumping onto attn1's irc channel. The devs there should be able to get you sorted out.

Out of curiosity though, which version of the hack kit did you use?

You are far from bricked. Really, very far.

From hboot, press power once. This starts fastboot. Plug in USB and it should say fastboot USB. Sort out your driver situation, and you can flash the RUU from there. Just run the exe from windows. If you're on an alt OS, you can still flash the RUU like this: (this assumes an RUU in signed htc zip - the example is an AT&T Inspire RUU
