Brief Question on Notification Tones

Hi, gang. I'm hoping that some of you can help me with an issue that seemingly would have a fairly simple solution. Here goes.
When my phone receives a TM or an e-mail, an audible notification is sounded. Fair enough. Unfortunately, the tone only sounds one time. So, when I return to my car, study, bedroom, etc.; or I miss the tone due to road noise, the car stereo, or whatever, I have to look at the phone to look for the slowly flashing red light. Or, I have to 'wake' the phone and look at the notifications bar at the top to determine if I missed an e-mail or TM.
Please tell me that there's a setting, application, or something else that will produce a reminder notification, say, every 30-60 seconds or so.
I really appreciate you all's help, and remember, the future of my mental health is in your hands:thumb:.

Take care,

I'd like to know this as well. I usually have my phone on vibrate so if I leave the room, I never hear anything and am usually not bothered to pick up my phone to see if I missed anything in the last 2-5 minutes I was gone.

I use Missed Call Reminder...available in the Play Store..you can set it to alert you with multiple alerts and set them to alert at different intervals:)
