Brighter/bigger Status Bar

I wonder whether any app can make the status bar brighter/bigger. Thanks for your help.

Android will not allow apps to change your status bar as such. However they can overlay a replacement on top. There are a number of these available from the play store.

If one of the purposes is to improve battery notification status bar the best (the bigger) one i found (for free) is battery notification BT free.There is also a paid version with more colors and options.
