Help Brightness Issue

Hi all,

New user, having some strange issues with my S7 Edge. I've attached some images of the problem. I have these dim bars across the screen. It's almost definitely related to the brightness as when the brightness is on full or minimum they disappear.

I'm currently on the phone to the network to try and get it returned as I am within my 30 days return window. But wondering if anyone knows what this is or has faced a similar issue?

Yep looks like a faulty screen.

Yep, thankfully they swapped the phone out and I got a new one. Just worried what might have caused it in case it happens again.

Probably poor manufacturing process, mass produced in China or wherever, it's the world we live in
