Brightness option on lockscreen with secure pattern

Is there a way to have brightness option on the lock screen with secure pattern ?
Galaxy s3 android 4.0.4.

I have it set at 1/3 to conserve battery however there are times when I go to use phone in daylight and cannot see the screen thus cannot enter the security swipe on the lock screen.

You need a lockscreen replacement like Widgetlocker that will let you put anything on the lockscreen.

I use the Brightness Widget - Backlight! widget to keep the display at 25% until I’m in the sunlight. You can set multiple levels at any brightness, but two seems to work fine.
