Brightness setting will not save

Dear All.

Whatever brightness level, auto ticked or not, after turning phone off and on again, the brightness level goes to 100% and the time period of inactivity shows at 2mins.

anyone have this issue?

Very strange. Try looking to see if you downloaded some other program that is manipulating intensity. If not, I'd recommend backing up important information and performing an FDR

Ive already done a factory data reset and no other apps installed. stilll the same. no-one else with this issue at all??

Had the reverse problem ,auto brightness just stayed wherever the slider was set to.
I installed Lux now all is well.
