Brightness slider in notification menu-AT&T

How dO I get the brightness slider in my drop down menu? My uncle has it on his sprint s3. My att s3 doesnt have it. My cousin told me its in the update, but my phone is up to date. Thx!

Yes it was in an update. The at&t one may be up to date currently because they haven't released that update yet.

To be honest its useless. I may remove mine. "Display brightness" from Google play is much better and even works in apps or lockscreen, where you'd actually need it.

Would you mind editing the title of your thread to include at&t please? This will make your post stand out to other at&t users.

you dont want it. like the last poster said its useless. eather keep the brightness low for power save or have it on auto . your choice.

Auto constantly checking sensor. Manual setting better. But better way to set than with that slider
