Broke down and bought the Infuse...

Newbie
I have been researching phones for almost a month now and it was between the Infuse and the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic(Sprint). I eventually chose the Infuse because I only had to pay 1 cent and I also get 20% off of my bill every month because of where I work. The Infuse should arrive on Tuesday...now...could any of you please tell me the "MUST HAVE" android apps I need on this phone?

Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

I really feel like you'll know the answers once you start using your phone.

I remember when I got my phone, I looked around for posts regarding "awesome apps" or "must have" apps but ended up deleting like 90% of what I downloaded.

Really, you are going to have different needs/wants with your phone from any other user. Aside from basic functionality apps that I think everyone could benefit from (like Google Calendar or Gmail, which already come installed), the rest are really for you to explore and try out.

Android is super customizable so I would suggest just trying out everything.

The only "must-have" (really just a might-need) app is a wifi fixer tool if you find that you don't auto-connect to known networks when you enter their range, or if you have other weird wifi bugs. I've seen several people report issues with wifi on stock ROMs, and you can fix them with free apps.

Yeah, I read about this from some posters. I will find out if I will have a problem come Tuesday, otherwise, I will definitely download that app. Thanks amigo!

imo the "must" would be to root your phone and take all that junk off that your carrier put on it like mine had a bunch of att programs i didnt use and that were just taking space.

HI,
Are you willing to sell your Samsung INFUSE?
I just need to know if the screen is in shape or not.

Just to tell you, i am not any shop keeper or dealer, just an end-user.

Stroll through the market and look at highest rated app's by editors and highest by staff.

I like
Folder organizer pro. Must have (assuming you don't get a new launcher out get rooted)

widgetsoid, elixir 2 widgets

Google maps is probably already loaded....almost as good as gps when traveling (better in some ways)
Watchdog 3, myatt to keep track of network data usage.

Astro file manager

dolphin browser. Much better than stock browser

I could go on, but those are my favorites I agree it depends on your needs/interests etc
