my experia s wont do any automatic updates and comes up with error while retrieving imformation from server (rpc:s-5:aec-o) any suggestions please

Are the automatic updates you refer to from the Google Play Store? If not, I have to be honest and say that I don't know how to help you directly.
However, we do have a forum for the phone you have.
