broke : leds, buttons, trackball, alarm sound

So WTF!

Things that stopped working that I have noticed about...

My trackball light
button lights
led lights

And now I'v been late for work for 2 days...and I just noticed that my alarm sound doesn't work...if I go into alarms and pick which sound it does nothing!!!!

Any help about this???

Same problem, no solution at this moment, Orange will delivery me another HTC Hero in a few days, back to factory defaults or hard reset don't work, and I'm sure your jackphone will not work too

djeezes..if I send my phone gone it will take 3 weeks and more

But all the other functions of the phone still work...at least, you can call and email

Same here, did any of you root your phones, or install any apps lately? My headphone jack's not working either

No root, no out-of-market applications installed, only normal use I promise. My jack not work too.

Hmm, I emailed HTC, waiting for reply. Lots of people having this problem now. By the way I went to Madrid, very nice

This is definitely starting to look more like a design hardware fault as I'm seeing this crop up a bit more. Gonna have to keep an eye on my new handset after I swapped the old one out due to this issue.
