I dropped my phone and the screen cracked. The touchscreen and stuff still works so i'm wondering did i just break the gorilla glass and not the whole screen or the lcd? If so can I get one of those replacement things off ebay like this New Outer Screen Glass Lens for Samsung Galaxy SIII s 3 i9300 Tools White | eBay also my phone is the metro model of the galaxy s3 so would I be able to use any of those or is there a special one i need?

They are all the same. Only difference in some is the color (obviously) and some don't have the touch buttons included (means you have to pull the ones off your old screen without damaging them ( even had to do this with the whole replacement screen mentioned later). I tried doing this to my wife's and only had a square inch left and cracked the LCD cause I didn't get it hot enough to loosen the glue. Ended up having to buy the whole replacement screen on ebay for $160.
