Help Broken charger socket

Does n e one have a guide or know of one I can use to fix my admire. The usb charging socket went out on me. I really need my phone back. I guess I have to change it for a new one. I have a bit of soldering skills.

Well i know a way use any usb cable take out the black and red cable black for negative and the red for positive put back your battery that will chager your phone work for me

Do you mean the charger it self, or the little charging port on your Admire?

I might be leaving the admire world. I found a epic4g touch from sprint. I might flash it over to metro.

If you wanna get that Admire off your hands i'll take it, I have an Admire so I can just switch batterys... It will be used for devlopment

I keep finding myself going bck to the admire>all things rooted section. If bo does the cm9 break throug I might switch back to the admire n fix the miniusb port. The internet on this flashed phones are horrible. I get 150kbps in a good day "/
