Broken glass

This was the first time that my phone dropped from my overalls front pocket on the concrete floor. It didn't passed 1.8 drop resistance specification. So disappointed about this phone. This is my third Cat s60.
I'm not sure if warranty will cover this damage.

The Cat s60 is certified to MIL-STD 810G specifications which includes drops, would be worth trying to get a replacement.

Nevertheless they accept your claim I believe you should try (for example by putting ticket at support website). You bought this phone because of durability - if such thing happens it may be caused by some manufacture defect. By the way can you tell us what is your current Model Name (my BT52) MFG Date (my 2016/12/19) and Factory SN (my 649727502297) - just in case it has something to do with manufacturing. (I have already dropped my S60 brick from hands level standing on ceramic floor few times and nothing happend yet - I believe it will last for more than a year, but I haven't tested it for water yet...)

Well if they specify it is drop proof to 1.8m and it doesn't meet that spec I would be calling them!
