Help broken screen how to replace?

Hello everyone,
I have a T-mobile samsung vibrant. My puppy bit the screen and now its cracked. Luckily I had a a screen protector which lessened the damage. The phone still works perfectly but its just that the glass is cracked. I was wondering which route you guys took to replace yours? I was checking out this:

Is that product legit? I also heard about sending it to samsung you guys have any lead to that? Can;t seem to find it.

I dont think there will be a lot of people who will have done that and not killed the phone in the procces.

But i think to attach you'll have to get off all the screws so you can place the screen.
I think the screen will have 3 attach points
1. Data cable for view
2. Touch input cable
3. power supply

this can be all in one cable or all loose cables but i think it would be like this
