I could not find a solution to the following problem after searching the forum and the web.
I could browse files on my droid phone device (Samsung Galaxy 551) during the early days I bought it, from my Debian laptop, using obexftp. I played around with running services on the droid device and I can no longer do file browsing remotely through BT. I cannot find what service to start again. Rebooting the phone or restoring everything to factory defaults do not help. The OPP service is up. Browsing over USB cable has no issue. I can send files over BT from my laptop to the phone device. Sending files from the phone to the laptop does not work either.
How can I reactivate this functionality again ?
