Help Browser and back button problem

Hello, first post here. Just got the Maxx yesterday and loving it so far, except for one very annoying problem. Okay here goes, when I do a search and get the google search results and then click on whatever site to discover its not really what i'm looking for, so I then hit the back button to go back to search results but instead it takes me back to where I have to retype my original inquiry. I have tried Dolphin as a work around, but still does the same thing. Am I missing something? Never had this problem with the Droid X.

Are you hitting the phone's back button or "back" in the browser?

I am hitting the phones back button, just like I always did on my Droid X.

My phone is doing this same exact thing. I didn't have this issue until I did the update.

I think if you turn Google's "Instant (beta)" off, the problem will go away.

An annoying work around is to long click on the hyperlink in the search list and open a new tab.

I already tried turning the instant beta off. Did not help. So aggravating. I may have to return it, too bad cuz I really like this phone. I updated it right out of the box so I dont know if it was doing it before.

I cleared all history and cache, and deleted application data and it seems to have fixed the issue...
