Help Browser help for Galaxy ace

oasphonic

Lurker
Hi all, first of all im sorry if this is not in th eright place but i was hoping someone more tech minded than me maybe able to help?

Ive just been delivered the Galaxy Ace, and can acsess certain (Football) forums with no problem whatsoever, however the main one I tend use, will let me see everything apart from read posts (Does that make sense), I can see the latest posts etc but cant read them, as when I click to read them a white screen just appears. Ive been told to use a different browser as that could help, but whcih is th ebest one to use, or is there another reason this is happening?

Thanks again, and sorry yet again if this is in the wrong topic section.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, oasphonic. The area you chose to post your question was fine, but I've moved your question to the Ace area for you.. lots more opinions about browsers for the Ace here. :)

In the "play store," formerly Android Market, you'll find Dolphin Mini/HD, Opera Mini, Boat, etc.. lots of choices. I use Dolphin Mini on my X2, but let's see what other Ace users like.

Hi,

The one I always seem to go for is Opera mini. Fast and doesnt use too much space. You could try purchasing TapATalk from the Play store as it supports lots of forums!

Top 3 are-
Opera mobile

for complete web browsing experince and browsing html5 sites (web will have a revolution n sites will convert into html5 sites)opera mobile is the best but its facebook interface sucks, u cannot turn off your location , and takes 2mb internal memory

Dolphin browser
Awesome facebook interface, can turn off location, faster,add-ons,best for flash

Opera mini next
Faster than opera mini less space ,but yes not suitable for many web pages no html5 support

All Browsers have there pro's and cons, just try them all out and keep the one you like best. I tend to stick with stock Browser as it saves space and does the job fine. I always found opera very skittish, it flies around far to quickly for me and not the best page display

What is a stock browser?
I have Voice Search in my phone, so do I need a browser as well?
I downloaded Firefox Mobile but the file would not open/install and Dolphin was a bit foreign to me :o

Any suggestions please?

Edit- Stock browser seems to be Google, so I have reinstalled Dolphin and it is up and running
