Help Browser link on desktop

Does anyone know how to have a bookmarked link access ed from the desktop? Rather than having to open browser first, nav to bookmarks etc...?

Long press on the screen. Then you would get option to add widgets, shortcuts etc. Click on shortcut then click on Bookmarks and select the bookmark.
