Browser problem

Hi! Just got my new HTC Hero and I really like it. But I have one small issue. I'd like to open and view word, excel and pdf files in the browser but it doesn't allow me to. It starts to load but suddenly stops. Can anyone help?

For word/excel documents i suggest google docs, you should be able to get it online/marketplace. As for pdf files look for pdf viewer, any pdf documents you download can be accessed there

But the problem is, that i can't even download them. They are supposed to open in a new window or a tab, but they don't.
