Browser question(s)!!

I am using browsers (Firefox, Chrome, and the Android/Asus/whatever one), on my Asus TF300 tablet, but growing frustrated. I would like to use a browser that looks and asks more like the ones I use on my PC. Instead, everyone I try lacks a menu bar, the ability to set a "home page", etc. Is this because I'm using the Android OS rather than Windows? I cannot seem to find the settings on them. Firefox (I've installed and uninstalled twice) just hangs... sometimes it eventually opens, sometimes not.

Also, I tried using the Facebook app (not a browser issue) and it's horrible: the photos on friends' posts take up the entire page, but the font on text looks normal. I'd like to just view my Facebook with a browser rather than use the app. Is this possible?

Thanks.... I know I'm asking basic questions but I'm a newbie to Android-land.

Yep the browsers are catching up. We have tabbed browsing, sync & user agent now.

I had some page render issues with Firefox but it's still good, especially to sync tabs & bookmarks to your desktop Firefox.

Opera Mobile is good enough to be default browser, & you can also sync bookmarks (Opera Link).

Boat browser is cool for being minimal yet stylish in design, the thing I like about it is it's night mode (saves battery).

(I like the look of dolphin but uninstalled it for reasons I can't remember - though most of android community rate it, so....)

i have opera in desktop PC and opera mobile in phone. but on my asus tf101 i'm using default browser - page scrolling is "smoother"
