Help BT headset / Marshmallow odd behavior

lestatar

Lurker
Hi folks... Not a real problem but certainly an odd, repeatable behavior I am having. Looking for some feedback or solution please. :)

Particulars:

LG G4 H818n Dual Sim
6.0 Marshmallow (Google updates current)
Nuforce BE6i BT iems
Black Player (primary phone audio player app)
Spotify free also installed

Issue:

Please bear with me... A little hard to describe.

In short, after powering up and pairing the IEMs to my phone, but BEFORE I actually play any music or media from my phone, if I press the play /pause button on the headset, some music will play.

But it's NOT any currently queued up music from my phone's player.

When I actually start any kind of media from the phone, everything is normal.

Things that confuse the issue more:

- its always the same song, and it always starts in the same point in the middle of the song;

- the song that always starts is one which very likely resides on my phone. Only problem is I can't really identify it. But given the type of song its a near certain probability that it is in my library.

I have already spoken to Nuforce customer support. They are confused as well. They also confirm that there are only preloaded voice prompts on the headset, no music.

I suspect the following:

The song in question is cached somewhere on my device in a BT folder likely. So when I pair and hit play /resume from my headset but HAVE NOT actually started any music from my phone, the headset is playing that cached song.

I just want to find that song /cache and clear it out.

Did any of that make sense?

Again, totally not a problem. Just an odd behavior that is now making me a little nutty, irritating my usual OCD controlling nature... Haha....

Really hope to get some feedback, guidance, suggestions...

Cheers and TIA,
-lestatar
