[jheff]

while trying to update binary version 2.3.2-ef from super user i am getting hung up on "Copying su to /system... fail!" I have installed busy box and root check basic says i have root access, however only these three apps show up in super user. Can anyone help please?

Try uninstalling the su and reinstall the su and su updater

djedgarftw, before i try that is there another way? Superuser website highly advises against that once it is installed

[djedgarftw]

Try to just install the su updater

[jheff]

i have su update fixer and it says signatures ok

i uninstalled both su and the updater then restarted phone. Still says i have root access but only the same three apps are in su

You could try re rooting I have heard if cases where the phone is rooted and is not like a half root or something. So try that and see if it helps
