Tv Android box connected through Ethernet lead and home plug but recently it keeps buffering every few seconds for a few seconds. Have changed homeplugs, Ethernet leads and even TV box. Terrible trying to watch Live TV Any ideas? Used to be fine. My laptop is also connected through a Homeplug and Ethernet lead and internet is fine. Provider says everything looks fine from their side

Is that your Internet Service Provider(ISP) or the provider of the whatever it is live TV service?

On your Android TV unit, start up a browser and go to:
https://speedof.me/
Do a speed test to check the bandwidth rate.
Also what kind of streaming content are you watching? If it's high res and you can set it to a lower definition try that.

It's my Internet Provider that says there is no problem. All computers at home are working fine. Just seems to be the a problem when I watch the TV box. Have changed box and still the same. Used to be fine with no problems. Will try the speed test on the box.

So it's most likely a problem with the source then. Is this "Live TV" one of those "free" illegal pirate ones, sometimes with biblical sounding names, that streams content that you would normally pay for?

What you need is to do a speed test on a computer that's got a wired (Ethernet cable) connection to your router, this will at least give you a baseline bandwidth number to work off of. And no, is doesn't matter whether your ISP stated everything is fine. You need to determine that yourself, as the truth is very, very hard thing to get out a typical ISP.
