Help bug: menu at the left

Hi!

I have a samsung galaxy s3. Android version 4.1.2.

Suddenly in the saturday a halfcircle appeared in the left border. I can't remove it. Is it a bug or a virus? I don't want it.

When I drag it a menu is opened.

Does anybody know what it is?

The halfcircle is displayed "on top" of any app I use (start screen, web browser, settings, ..). So a bit of the app is hidden by it.

I can't provide a screenshot right now but I'll try to add it later.

Hi danielmarjamak, and welcome to AF :)

I think that means you have the multi-window feature enabled. It was introduced with that software version. If so, you should be able to disable it in the display settings. I found a thread in the note 2 forum that says you can also toggle it on/off by long-pressing the back button.

Welcome aboard, Daniel. :)

I moved your thread here so it can get better answers and results.

Did you recently download any apps? You could try rebooting your device and see if an icon loads upon doing so. If you recently upgraded your phone it could be a bug. My old Inspire had something similar I think and doing a factory reset solved it.

EDIT: I think what Hadron has posted could be correct. :)
