Help Buggy Motorola Atrix

I have a motorola atrix running gingerbread 2.3.4 and I find for a dual core phone it lags out a lot. Music skipping is a common daily problem and get's quite annoying. The phone also force reboots once every day or two.

Has anyone else been having these problems? Does anyone have any suggestions as how I could fix it?
