Help Bugs in superpad 3

Just bought fram amazon, Superpad III 8G on the box, N300.version.2.3-8G-b on the casing.
1st question how to unmount usb storage, if I use a geriatic 1Gig stick when removed it says safe to remove usb then usb removed, but with a 16 gig stick it simply winges usb removed unexpectedly.
according to ahem instruction manual I need to go settings > sd card and system memory and unmount it there but the only thing that appears there is the information total space 8g.
neither the usb storage or a micro sd card appear there when inserted but they do appear in a file manager.
I think that will do for now , I'll mutter about the lack of youtube later :)

Is the N300 the model number given in menu/settings/about device/model number? If so... then you have yet another new model and getting support will be a problem as no-one knows!...however....on the more common Disco10 model, depending upon which firmware you are using, there are two ways of unmounting a usb stick, one in MyPad application, and the other under menu/settings/Sd card & device storage.....youtube 2.1.6 works on my Disco10... sorry.. I don't have a link as it is pre-installed with the firmware.
 
The model number in settings about Android 10 version V2.3 231112(001112)
build number FRF85B kernel 2.6.32.9 is this any help can't find mypad in market

MyPad was the default file viewer in Android v2.2 and was included in the build of all firmwares.

so.. it says....

Menu
settings
about device..

Model Number: Android 10

does it?

OK.. so now you know the model number....

Tab10 is one of the later tablet models that have had little development done so there will be little firmware upgrading you will be able to do, but AFAIK USB/TF memory cards should behave in the same way as they do in the earlier, more common models and MyPad should already be installed.
