Root Build.prop file deleted...Need Help

Hi so I was on my galaxy s4 and I had an update for an app that said "your device isn't Compatible with this app" so I saw a video on YouTube and it said something to do with build.prop so I was messing with it and I accidentally cut it then I rebooted my device and it won't turn on completely...I saw a video on YouTube on how to fix it with rebuilding it but I cannot connect my android device to the windows 7 laptop I have...Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a solution:)

Hello!
Hmm, I would surmise since you are rooted, to find a rom, put it on your sd card and flash it via recovery.

I'm assuming you have a custom recovery...if not, then the other thing that I can think of is to flash the firmware via ODIN, hoping your computer will see your device in download mode ;)
Edit: you'll lose root with the ODIN method, but perhaps you can re-root?
Perhaps someone with a little more rocks in their box than I, can offer assistance :)

Edit x 2: moved your thread into your device's root forum.

No problem :)
Do you have a custom recovery? If so, which do you have?
And just to confirm since I'm not familiar with the S4, you do have a removable sd card correct?

ok, cool :)
Now, what carrier are you on?
My thought is to find a rom, have you download it to your computer, put it on your sd card (after removing it from the phone of course and utilizing a card reader for the computer), put it back into your phone, boot into recovery, and flash the rom.

So, first question is, who is your carrier?

ok cool :)
There are so many roms for the device, I went looking around and picked this one for you:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-4-4-4-nh7-insane-kit-kat-v1-9-14-14-t2876946

Download it to your computer.
Power down your device.
Remove your sd card from the device and use a card reader to put it in your computer.
Transfer the rom to the sd card.
Do not unzip it...leave it zipped.
Once transferred, put the sd card back into the device.
Boot into your recovery.
Choose the option to factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache. Then wipe it again. And then again. (that's what I usually do....wipe 3 times).
Back to main screen in CWM.
Not too familiar with CWM recovery, but there should be an option to "install".
Navigate to your external sd card (where the rom .zip is) and choose to flash (install) it.

I think I got that correct :)
If you are unclear on any step, just ask :) No worries!
