Root Building/Porting Jelly Bean (CM10) for my device?

I can NOT for the life of me find any information on porting CyanogenMod to a device that hasn't had it before. What do I need to do to build it for my phone? Are there any guides for doing so? I have searched high and low and haven't gotten a definitive answer.

My phone currently runs ICS, so I can't imagine the jump to Jelly Bean would take much.

Hey Jimmy i am assuming you are talking about the Reverb, if this is wrong and you were actually talking about your other device (Optimus V) tell me and i can move the thread there, but i have moved this into the Reverb Root Forum so other members and possible Devs can assist you with this question
