What a good app to replace it with... cause if the battery is low I dont care and just want to use the app.

I use the flashlight app from the market, search com.devuni.flashlight for it. It comes with a widget icon to turn it on and it's worked great for me. The app also has the silly extras like a strobe for the camera flash and the screen, and cop lights
