Bulk SMS software to send via android phone

Hi,

I hope I am posting in the right section. As part of my business I regularly send SMS messages to a mailing list of legit contacts. To date I have been using a (very old) Nokia, hooked to a computer running windows 7, but the mobile is now dying out Since I have several android devices I was wondering if I can find some software which i can install on my PC to use for such bulk SMSes, through hooking up my mobile to the PC (running windows 7) (and use the SMS data plan of my operator). I would like to avoid using an online SMS gateway, since my customers need to receive messages via my phone number etc.

Any help and suggestions?

I plan to use a Samsung mini for this task, but does it make a difference, since software will be on a PC ?
