burn ins after 3 days??

Seriously? Has this happened to anybody else? I've been using this phone for 3 days And I already have burn in spots. Unbelievable. I use the phone on the lowest brightness settings too.

Had mine since July, screen usually on 50% brightness, no burn-in that I see. Where is your burn-in?

it was in the middle of the screen, there were a bunch, i ran a burn in test and they were even more than i could see.... but strangely enough, i turned on my phone this morning and they were gone! really weird

What are you using for a burn-in test. I'm guilty as charged - using the S3 for an alarm clock @ home - and at work. Dummy me - never even thought of burn-in. Does anyone know if the screen on the N2 is any less susceptible to burn-in?

Your phone has a defective screen if you are seeing burn in already. The LED's should not lose their luminescence within a few months. Years, yes. Months, no.

What about my situation - got the S3 in July - don't remember when I git the guilty as charged alarm Clock App.Is it something that's repairable - or need a new display?

If LED's lose their luminescence, I don't believe there is any way to fix them. Plasma, CRT and OLED screen are susceptible to burn in, especially if you leave a static image on the display for a really long time. But again, if this has happened in just a few months, I would say it had a faulty display. That is just my opinion though. I am by no means a display expert.

I would go to your carrier and show them the issue and ask for a replacement.
