Burning .avi to a DVD

I'm trying to find a program that will allow me to burn a .avi to a blank DVD. I have found a couple out there, but when I burn the file, there is no audio on it. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use WinDVD Creator. Accepts most formats, edit clip length, add menus, etc.

Also try WinAVI converter which has many different format conversions but not editing before combining clips into a DVD.

Are you trying to convert the AVI to DVD Format so that it is playable on most DVD players? Or are you trying to just put the AVI on a DVD that can be played on a DVD player or other media player that can play AVIs (PS3 for instance)?

Converting an AVI to DVD can take quite a while, even on a newer computer. I would suggest to pick up a $40 DVD player that can handle AVI (and divx/xvid). Then it's just a matter of dragging and dropping in windows...
