Help Bush Android Tablet stuck on version 4.4.2

[Android Question]

HELP Please..!!! I got a Bush Android Tablet, It keeps showing there's an update, I download it then install it but it still shows it's on version 4.4.2. I,m sure there is a more recent version than that can anyone help solve this issue..!!!

Does the tablet actually go through and apply the OTA update? If it's showing the same 4.4.2 Kitkat, It's probably not an Android version update, could be a bug-fix and/or security and/or stability and/or reliability update or something.

Considering its a rather obscure tablet, I doubt you're getting an update to a newer Android version. That's simply the case with any non mainstream manufacturer tablet. Don't expect it to get updates.

Bush is a house brand of Sainsbury's supermarket, for their budget devices. Usually sold at Argos stores. So don't expect it to be supported much.

That was probably a Security update. Security updates don't change your version number.
