Business calendar sync with GMail

I'm new with Smart phones and Android. I downloaded the "Business Calendar", since it tells me that I can sync it with Google Calendar. However I'm not able to find how to set up the calendar in order to be able to link with my Google. I have an old version of Android (2.3.4). Is it a problem?

Hi qfdv, and welcome to AF

Open Google Calendar from a web browser, and log in using the GMail account you use for the phone. If you then subscribe to (or set up) calendars from there (i.e. from that GMail account) you should then be able to select them to view using Business Calendar. You'll need calendar sync to be enabled in your phone's Accounts and Sync Settings.
