Busted audio socket.. help?

I have the Driod razr and my 3.5 mm audio socket doesnt work anymore. The phone doesnt recognize headphones, cables, etc. I got snow in it when i went snowboarding and it hasnt worked since. Anybody have any ideas on what i can do to fix it?

I droped my phone in a river once (almost killed it) but it had the same problem.
What i did is i put it near a heat sorce to dry and i put it upsidedown so that the socket was facing down. After a day like that my phone started recognizing the headphones.

If not try this:

Find the screws that hold your phone together and take them out carefuly.
Navigate to the busted socket and check if everything is in place (if not put it in place)
Then check the little cable going from the socket to the motherboard (if it is damaged go to a service centre)

Hope it helps :)

Easiest fix is to start using a bluetooth headset. :p Or just do what is posted above. Personally I'd head straight to the service center if its still in warranty.
