Help Buttons do not light up on Rugby?

The button do not light up on the Rugby?

I noticed that on mine Ive been looking for a way to get them lit its a pain at night trying to use them

And I am quite confused that the phone has light sensors, but their is no way to turn on automatic brightness.

Under power saver mode there is an option to adjust brightness of the screen I'm assuming it does it automatically when checked

I like how you can find the buttons by touch without even looking at them and operate them with gloves on. Unlike my Samsung Galaxy where the buttons don't light up until AFTER you've pushed one, what good is that?

I wondered the same thing. There is a neat feature of Touchwiz that lets you change brightness by sliding your finger across the top of the screen!

The light sensor does turn off the screen when it's up against your face during a call (proximity sensor) and can silence the ringer if you flip the phone over (although I think this feature may use the gyros).
