buttons on galaxy nexus

how are the buttons at the bottom of the galaxy nexus different than the capacitive buttons on the bottom of the nexus one?

They aren't buttons. The screen is simply larger and they are actually part of the display.

what Binary said. watch the video, the "buttons" rotate in landscape mode, and move to the other end when the phone is turned over, and go away for certian apps such as videos.

ok, so how is that different than the nexue one's 4 capacitive buttons? or whatever you want to call them

oh ok thanks trav, you got in your reply before mine. i still consider those buttons. i dont like how they seem to be "on" even when the phone is locked. that's what makes them look like buttons. if it were truly buttonless it should be off when the phone is locked

They are off when the phone is locked. The buttons are not shown when you are on the unlock screen.
