with the lg I cant get any barcode reader to scan It might have something to do with focus Ideas?

Have you tried holding the phone at various distances to see if that makes a difference?

LGL35G I have tried Buycott & Barcode Scanner. Yes I have tried different camera settings such as zoom and brightness. Held at all angles and distance with several different barcodes on different packages

Have you tried Google Goggles?

It works with the package photo, it reads the actual numbers on bar codes and recognises them as bar codes.
