Buying Kindle Fire Will Cancel Your Prime Guest Membership

I was on guest prime membership before. I was surprised to see I can borrow eBooks and play Instant video with my Kindle Fire. I don't know how it happens. Now I know. Amazon will force a 1 month free Prime membership trial. However, at the end of the free trial, if I don't renew, I will be bumped off the Guest membership complete.

If Amazon will force a free trial without my opt-ing in, they should restore my membership status after the trial ended.

Have you called customer service? I'm sure they would gladly restore your old membership.

I called. The agent won't be able to help. He refused to let me talk to the supervisor. Until I told him I want to make a complain about the policy but not him, then he got me through. The supervisor said he will submit a ticket to get me back. But he refuses to give me his name. I'm confused.
