That's weird i use over 200 gb last month and never had that issue did you tests the network speed on the same area each time

yes i did the speed test in the same place. 24 hours after they did an account refresh my speeds are normal but wifi hotspot will not work on aicp rom. and yes im on the 60$ unlimited plan.
44gb??? Lol. I would throttle you too.. is that the 60$ per month plan??

Probably due to using hotspot. When I use hotspot I get better speeds on my computer than I do on my phone which doesnt make sense to me.. but anyway im sure metro doesnt differentiate from your using your own hotspot or allowing freinds access to your lte speeds.

yeah, it just shows an ! on my laptop, and ps3 wont connect to it. no internet. ill know next monday if its working okay after my bill date that it would be metropcs blocking it.
Did you change the interface on it to: wlan0. If you don't then your phone won't show up. It works like a charm.

I believe you need to adjust your APN settings I had this issue a lot after flashing custom roms and found that the apns are not set correctly u need to adjust apn-type to include (dun) so it should read out something like this default,MMS,dun, supl and everything should start working fine Xbox one works and ps4 once I add that to APN type that's all let me know if that fix it I'm on android 5.1.1 acid rom

Incorrect.

Your phone's data will be throttled after you've reached 23gb (if they claim that you are in their top 3% of data users) and of course your hotspot will be throttled to unusable speeds after you surpass the measly 8gb they allot you.

I know this because I got the text about the 23 mb this past week.

Does not mean anything. I have learned one thing. Top 3% doesn't mean 23GB/8GB or higher. If you suck down enough to be ranked at the top 3%, which I found out is over 200GB then you will be throttled. And those people are the one that stream Netflix, YouTube, Roku, etc, etc. People who use MMORPG, Torrents and so forth on their mobile phone. That is what John Legere said at that meeting.

You have businesses where employers make employees use VPN to access their email and such (Motorola and Xerox being the two that come to mind) and I know for a fact that Xerox and Motorola employees and utterly destroy 30GB in a month time.

Explain this lol. I tether like at least 300gbs every month

Lol... That text says they'll throttle you during high traffic.. I got that beat... I live in a town with no metro or t-mobile stores... I'm like the only person in town using our tower... There are no high traffic times..... Love it!

Also I just talked to a friend in Oregon this morning... He says there they get unlimited hotspot on a 2 phone $55 per phone family plan.... Idk...

He said to look up the plan online, but Metro requested my location before I could see plans... I guess they must be different for different locations.
