Hello buterfly and welcome to Android Forums. I found this in the history of the sub forum for the Evo. You can clear the browser cache from the browser: Menu:More:Settings:<scroll down>Clear Cache.
This is also from the same sub forum: Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All and select Media Storage > Clear Cache.
