Has anyone notice on the built in caculator that comes with the samsun galaxy proclaim When you add up like $10.00 + 7% it comes up with $10.07 and it should come up as $10.70. and that 7% is tax.

My guess is it doesn't operate on financial calculator (action after number) sequence. When you hit %... it is changing the 7 to 0.07 which is 7% and adding it to 10.

When I use the calc to figure tax/tip I just do 10 * 1.07 = 10.7

This drives me nuts why do they have a % sign on the built in calulator then. I can get a $1.00 cal from walmart and it adds it up right 10.00 + 7% = 10.70 What kind of calulator is this on the samsung galaxy proclaim that can't operate as a financial to me this cal is an joke really... very stuiped if you ask me....

Try one of the calculator apps in the Play Store. I'm sure one of those would do what you want. That's the beauty of a smart phone... you can get an app for that.
