Help Calandar Events acting like all Day

It is very annoying when I create a event in my calendar but instead of showing up in my calendar grid, it pops to the top like a all day event.

I Hate this, the event is only a few hours long.

I really rather have ALL my events, regardless of length even those spanning multiple days to just stay on the grid and NEVER pop up to the top like a all day event.

Is there a way to force event s to stay in the grid?

Did you specify the time span upon entering a new event?
If so, can you upload a screen shot?

There is no such problem here, but I always specify the time span, whether I enter it on the phone, or desktop based calendar.
