Calendar app / software

Hi,

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the applications and software avaliable, so I thought asking you folks about this might make sense.

I'm looking for calendar software, for my PC (not mac). It'd be cool if I could sync it up to my HTC desire as well, but the most important thing is that it is software rather than a browser based calendar, for instance. It's just for personal use.

I use the calendar on the desire and it is synced with google calendar at present, but g-calendar is always crashing and bugging up for me. I find various things about it infuriating and therefore I dislike using it as a calendar.

Personally I use Outlook (got Outlook 2000 on XP Pro) and use MyPhoneExplorer to sync with my Desire HD. Works for me ....

No. Not sure if there are any sync tools for Outlook tasks, free ones anyway. But I don't use that functionality so, as of yet, I haven't been too bothered by it.
