Calendar + Colors Question

[Nauticalst4r]

I'm trying to replicate my previous calendar I had on my old treo 755... If any of you recall you could select a color to mark on the calendar. I can get up to 2 colors as of now (by choosing my android calendar and gmail calendar) but I need a larger variety of colors....

I.E i'd like to be able to set an event, choose a colored dot to display on the calendar such as a green dot representing golf, blue for swim meet, yellow for a conference meeting, red for a doctors appointment etc....

anyone know an easy way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Get a calendar app that supports colors. I think Jorte supports colors.

Android's built in calendar (i.e. google calendar) supports different colours for different calendars. Pretty sure most, if not all, 3rd party calendar apps also support this (e.g. i know the following do: smooth calendar, pure calendar, simple calendar widget).

You can create new calenders within google calendar, and assign colours to them. Then when you create a new event on your phone, choose a calendar/colour to assign it to.
