Calendar - Email Reminder

Does anybody know whether it is possible to set an email reminder when adding a new calendar entry?

Sorry but I do not understand your answer.

I am trying to add a new calendar entry to my Google calendar via Android. It seems to me that the reminder is only for a popup...but I would like to add an email reminder (when I add entry on phone).

Right perhaps not the same thing.
When i leave a entry in my calender on the PC i get a email reminder sent to my phone.
